Olienhuys

Olienhuys is an upmarket chalet named after the Olienhout (Wild olive) trees that grow around the area. Dutch settlers moving north from the Cape Town area carved the most amazing furniture pieces from the Olienhout tree . Olienhuys has a variety of amenities including:

  two bedrooms,   one and half bathrooms,   air-conditioning/  fireplace  fully-equipped kitchen,    panoramic views of the majestic Cederberg

Blokhuys

Blokhuys, recently renovated,  accomodates five guests in two bedrooms and a sleeper in the lounge. The airconditioned cottage also offers the following amenities:

  within walking distance of De Pakhuys bouldering area

Camping Site

Spread out beneath tall bluegum trees, the De Pakhuys campsite is rich in natural beauty and surrounded by the craggy boulders and bush typical of the Cederberg. Eleven sites are available, with the following amenities:

  ablution facilities including showers with hot water
  braai facilities at each site
  camp sites are within walking distance of the De Pakhuys bouldering area (600+ problems) 
  4 km from Rocklands climbing area
  100 m from a farm lake, which is great for swimming
  firewood available at the farm
  R40 per person per night (kids under 12  R20 per night) 
  a maximum of six guests per site is permitted
