de Pakhuys grows its own table olives and bottle them under its own label. The first harvest was during May 2008.
Several varieties of olive are being cultivated. These include Calamata, a large, black table olive with a smooth, meat-like taste, and Mission olives, which are black and generally for table use only. Also being grown are Frantoio olives, a cultivar which is often used on the making of olive oil, and which has a strong, fruity aftertaste.
Olive Oil Blend and Calamata Olives now available. (July 2010)
